Today we announced that Muttville, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs, selected our cloud practice management software to help improve staff efficiency and reduce operating costs.
“The biggest benefit I foresee from using Vetter is that it will help us see more dogs in our clinic, which means that we can save more lives,” said Angela Ramiro, Muttville’s Veterinary Programs Manager. “We will also be better able to track our inventory costs and supplies, which means that more of our resources can be used to helping patients. I'm also extremely excited about the calendar, as it tracks appointments and reminders much more efficiently than Google Calendar.”

“We started looking for veterinary software to help our staff be more efficient,” added Angela. “Writing medical records in Dropbox and Microsoft Word is terribly time consuming and resulted in our veterinarian having to write down exam findings in triplicate. We wanted a software that could track needed recheck exams, had a schedule that would be easy for everyone to use, and could track inventory.”
About Muttville
Muttville was started in 2007 by Sherri Franklin. Sherri was a long time volunteer at her local animal shelter and served on the Commission of Animal control and Animal welfare in San Francisco. Through her work with the local shelter, she noticed that the older dogs were rarely adopted and were often euthanized due to their old age. She knew she needed to do something. Sherri started Muttville out of her garage. In the first year, Muttville rescued 27 dogs; nine years later, we've rescued 4,200 and counting.
